Join FOLK FOLK, a non-profit affiliate organization of Common Ground Athens, believes that contemporary society does not place enough importance on knowledge and art forms that are locally-based. In order to address this situation, FOLK's primary undertaking is the Colporteurs in Residence Lecture Series. If you are interested in supporting our mission we invite you to join FOLK with a tax-deductible donation. To keep our program vibrant and growing, we need new members and old ones to renew their annual membership. Please look over our membership categories below. Mountain Dulcimer - $300 - Part of a series will be named after you or someone you wish to honor. You will also receive our bi-annual newsletter, and invitations to all FOLK events. Face Jug - $100-250 - Receive a copy of Virginia Nazarea's 2005 book “Heirloom Seeds and Their Keepers”, our bi-annual newsletter, and invitations to all FOLK events.
